What's New with Lanesborough-New Ashford Dollars for Scholars?

Our first ever Bunco Night took place in February of 2024. It was so much fun that we have made it into an annual event. You do not need to know how to play to attend as there is always a tutorial at the start of the evening with helpers circulating during the games.  $25 cash to play; all of which goes towards scholarships for our kids! We usually have a raffle and/or bake sale as well as Cash Prizes!! and Door Prizes!! Food and Beverages are available to purchase. This year's Bunco Night will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Tavern at the A in Pittsfield. For more information, contact Jen Welch: 413-884-5787.

Springtime Craft Fair: We once again hosted our annual, outdoor Craft Fair at the Bill Laston Memorial Park in Lanesboorugh on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Despite some weather challenges, the event was a huge success and lots of fun with live music throughout the day and yummy food to purchase. For students who may submit an application for a LNADS scholarship at some time in the future, volunteering at this event is a great way to earn credits!  If you are interested in more information or would like to become a vendor, please contact our Chapter President, Beth Stomberg at bethstom2@gmail.

Our annual  Holiday Wreath Sale fundraiser is a community favorite! Orders for wreaths must be submitted by November 1st. Wreaths must be picked up at the Lanesborough Elementary School on November 22nd. Thank you to all of our loyal customers! We hope to repeat this wonderful event every year. Our annual Holiday Craft Fair takes place on the first Saturday of December each year. This event is always a huge success but depends on many volunteers to make it happen! Each year we have been located at the Lanesborough Elementary School. We have the happy problem of selling out of vendor space early and needing to manage parking for all the folks interested in shopping. We may have outgrown this location - anyone have any ideas for a larger location?
